Welcome to The Hot Chart! We keep track of the most played songs on an elite group of Christian Top 40 radio stations around the nation. These stations target younger, often diverse audiences not served by existing industry-sanctioned CCM charts. The chart reflects airplay from major, large and medium markets cross the country. Check back every week to keep track of Hot Chart movements!
The Hot Chart was founded in 2015 by Mike Couchman at BOOST Radio in St. Louis (sister station to JOY FM) and Bob Thornton at NOW 94.5 (sister station to KXOJ) when no other charts tracked Christian Hit Radio and Christian Hip Hop. Coding and hosting of the chart is provided at no charge by Radioservers, LLC.
In January 2026 Muzooka started a dedicated Christian Hip Hop chart which allowed our Hip Hop stations to migrate over. The Hot Chart, as of February 2m 2026 will continue to reflect airplay of the top Christian CHR and Hot AC stations around the country. Many of these stations play CHH as well so there will be some overlap, but The Hot Chart will reflect a more Top 40 feel moving forward.
